Montessori Beginnings

Introducing Montessori Beginnings at Cardinal Montessori School

Looking for a loving, nurturing place for your 2½-year-old to learn, play and grow?

Your child may not be ready for the structure and independence expected in a traditional Montessori classroom — and that's perfectly okay.

Montessori Beginnings provides a gentle introduction to the Montessori philosophy while helping children gradually develop the skills they need for a successful transition into our Montessori Primary program.

Children learn through:

  • Practical Life & Independence
  • Play & Exploration
  • Language & Early Literacy
  • Early Math Concepts
  • Sensorial Activities
  • Art & Creativity
  • Music & Movement
  • Social-Emotional Development
  • Outdoor Exploration
  • Grace & Courtesy

We give children room to grow.

Some children need more time to separate from their parents. Some need help with routines. Some are still developing communication, toileting or self-help skills.

We meet children where they are — and gently help them move forward.

Montessori Beginnings is more than childcare.

It is the beginning of your child's journey toward confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
